ENGAA offers online registration for all of our programs. We have partnered with Sports Illustrated Play (SIPlay), a leading online sports registration vendor, to provide a robust, secure, yet easy-to-use online registration experience.

ENGAA requires that all participants register online, as sport, team, and player activities and communications are managed through the online system.

For online registration, you will be required to create a Sports Illustrated Play (  account when registering online.

If you have already created one from previous seasons with SportsSignup, you can log in with that one.  There is no need to recreate it, even if it is from a different league or organization.

All adults who are participating as coaches or volunteers (who work directly with children) MUST register online through SI Play  to ensure compliance with ENGAA’s background check requirements (see below for more information).

Some ENGAA programs offer a discount for families that register more than one player in a sport or program.  You must only register players through your family account that you are legally entitled to sign a wavier/release form for.  That is, you may not register players under your ENGAA account that are children you do not have the legal right to sign a wavier for.

If ENGAA determines that families are registering ineligible participants, ENGAA will, at the time of discovery, stop the ineligible player(s) participation.  The player will remain suspended until such time that the proper registration process is completed including full payment of the required registration fee by that player’s parent/guardian.

ENGAA cannot transfer fees paid for the ineligible registration for the purpose of re-registering, this is the responsibility of the involved registering parties.

At the discretion of the ENGAA Board of Directors, the original registration fees may be refunded to the originating account once the player re-registration process is completed, including full payment of all fees required at the time of the correct registration (this may include late registration costs).  Refunds of the ineligible registration are subject to the ENGAA Refund Policy, including deduction of the portions of the fees that ENGAA cannot recover (per-registration costs, credit card fees, league re-registration fees, etc.)  In most cases, a partial refund will be provided.

Payments are deposited in the order they are are received. This may affect your child’s ability to play, as a late payment could result in being placed on a waiting list.

Registrations are electronic payment only.  From time to time, some fees and additional items may be paid separate from the registration system.  As a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization, ENGAA reluctantly must charge a returned check fee of $10, in the event that a check submitted to ENGAA is dishonored by your bank.

This season, ENGAA is implementing several important changes to the registration and payment process.  The most important change is that the paper form and ‘pay by check’ options are no longer offered for Softball program registrations.

Registration is online only, payment will be accepted through credit cards only.

ENGAA Softball registration has waiting lists

What this means is that ENGAA has a set number of confirmed coaches for each level, 6U-8U-10U-12U-14U.  As each team roster with a coach is filled, the system will build a registration list based on a first-come first-serve basis.
If your player is placed on a waiting list, ENGAA Softball will be soliciting parents and other ENGAA adult family members to join the coaching staff to enable the next team to be rostered.  We don’t want to turn anyone away, however without coaching volunteers, this is a possibility.

Coaches and Volunteers: Online Background Check Required

ENGAA employs’s automated, streamlined and secured sports coach and volunteer background check process.  SI Play operates this process in full compliance with Federal Reporting rules. This translates to protecting not only the kids, but also the ENGAA organization and the privacy of ENGAA’s coaches and volunteers.  To protect your privacy, ENGAA does not receive or handle any of your information, and receives only a “pass/fail” indication at the completion of the process.

The background check process will initiate when you register online as a coach, volunteer, or other role with the organization that involves working directly with children.  Any individual who registers for such a role with ENGAA is required to complete the background check process.  Background checks are good for two years, if your existing background check expires, you will be notified once you register for your next coaching or other role.

SI Play charges a $13.00 fee to complete the background check.
